The Kids’ Entrepreneur Market Green Future Scholarship celebrates young makers, creators, and innovators who are building businesses with sustainability in mind. We believe kids have the power to create positive change — and we want to encourage ideas that help protect our environment while inspiring others. This scholarship is open to youth entrepreneurs ages 7–17 who demonstrate eco-friendly practices in their products, packaging, business operations, or mission. Whether you create products from recycled materials, reduce waste, use natural ingredients, promote conservation, or educate others about sustainability, we want to hear your story!

Scholarship Details

• Open to Kids’ Entrepreneur Market vendors registered for upcoming markets, ages 7–17

• Cash scholarship (amount to be determined) will be awarded at various markets

• Applicants will be evaluated by anonymous judges and a winner will be recognized at the market

• Winner will be featured on the KEM website and social media pages

• Scholarship funds may be used to support future business goals, supplies, or education

• Waste reduction efforts

• Eco-friendly packaging or production methods

• Passion for creating a greener future

• Ability to inspire others through their business

• Application to be completed or dictated by youth applicant - no parent submissions on behalf of their child

You do not need to have a “perfect” eco-friendly business to apply. We are looking for thoughtful efforts, creative ideas, and a genuine commitment to making a difference.
